Always wanted matching Family Pajamas?
Well guess what?!? Now you can!! All you need to do is join us for #FAMJAMS 2021!! We are so excited to announce our first Family Pajama Sew-A-Long (SAL)! As you know, my name is Becky, and I am the sewist, artist, and surface pattern designer here at ALPHA & Eve, and together with my friends, Lauren of @SewBetweentheLines, and Brittnie of @BrittnieLandsgard, we are hosting this event meant to build some community and love for sewing.

Secondly, NOW is the time to pick out your patterns and order your fabric!! I’m sure you’re aware, but mail is SLOOOOOWWWW right now, so if you have your eyes on some super cute holiday fabric, most packages are taking about 2 weeks to get to you (in the continental US anyway), so get online and get your goodies ordered soon!
And by the way, you can use any pattern or patterns you choose and any fabric you would like – it does NOT need to be holiday themed (although, BONUS if it is because they’re so CUTE, am I right!?!). In order to be eligible for one of the Grand Prize Packages, you do need to make PJ’s for a Family, so for at least 2 wearers – maybe a couple, a parent and kiddo, a parent and pet, or parent(s) and kiddos, or more, whatever that family is for you. And, in order to be eligible for a prize, you need to be at least 13 years old (or have an adult helping).

And thirdly, about the prizes!! All of them are gift cards, so you are eligible to win regardless of your location, however, some are for goods only, not shipping, so please note that you may be responsible for shipping costs if the prize you win does not cover shipping. There are a total of six (6) daily prizes spread out over the two (2) weeks, and each participant is eligible to win one daily prize by submitting a picture of the topic of the day by the required time WITH THE HASHTAG #FAMJAMS. Participants who do not submit a picture by the time specified and/or do not include the required hashtag #FAMJAMS, will not be eligible for that day’s prize drawing. The six (6) daily prizes will have submissions due by 12:00 noon Central Standard Time (CST) on the second day of that topic. For the Grand Prize Drawings, picture submissions will be due by 10:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST) on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 WITH THE HASHTAG #FAMJAMS. All participants are eligible to enter the Grand Prize Drawing, even if they have won a Daily Prize, as long as their submission follows the Grand Prize Drawing Guidelines. ALL PICTURE SUBMISSIONS NEED TO BE MADE ON THE ALPHAANDEVE FACEBOOK PAGE for ease of organization. However, we will be posting other updates, videos, tutorials and photos on all three Instagram pages and encourage you to do the same!.
Beginning on Wednesday, November 3rd, we will post a topic every other day (excluding Sundays because we’re old fashioned and think it’s ok for you to have a day off to spend with family and not on social media). By 12:00 noon CST on the following day (i.e. November 4th), you need to have your picture of that topic posted in order to be eligible for that day’s prize package. The winner of the prize will then be drawn randomly and posted by 10:00 PM CST that night (November 4th). This pattern will continue through Tuesday, November 16th, which will allow us to have six (6) diffferent topics, and six (6) corresponding daily prize giveaways.
Then on November 16th, participants will have until 10:00 PM CST to submit their pictures of their finished family pajamas WITH THE HASHTAG #FAMJAMS to be entered for 1 of 3 Grand Prize Packages!!! Then 3 Winners will be randomly drawn from the submissions and announced by 12:00 noon CST on Wednesday, November 17, 2021.
