Well, In case you haven’t heard, we’ve decided to try our hand at a second Family Pajama Sew-A-Long this year with #FAMJAMS 2022. That’s right, we’re back with more fun, more tutorials, more community encouragement, more pj’s and of course a few prizes! This year, joining Brittnie, the Nap-Time Sewist and me, will be Megan from Lottie Dottie Customs, and Lauren from Camp Clever. Megan is a mom of two and a strike sewist for a number of pattern and fabric companies, and regularly sews up some of the cutest clothes I have seen in quite some time. Lauren, is a fellow surface pattern designer, and has spent much of her time creating the most adorable kids decor, toys and learning materials, but is excited to join us this year on a slightly new adventure.
The fun starts on Tuesday, November 1st, which I know, is the day right after Halloween, but get those kiddies sent off to school or put them down for a nap (I mean they’re going to be exhausted after all that trick or treating, right!?) and hop on over to our Private Facebook group to get started on those jammies! To get the link to our group, you need to register because we are keeping very close tabs on who is allowed access to the group. We want to make sure everyone involved has the best possible experience with this event, so please make sure to keep your comments related to #FAMJAMS, keep all comments and images family friendly (G rated), and be kind and courteous at all times.
If you’re already registered, I bet you’ve probably started thinking about what pattern you should use, and possibly you’ve picked one (or more) out. Or maybe, you’re waiting to hear what everyone else is going to do before you decide what to use. If you have already registered, you might have picked a pattern based on a coupon that you found within the emails (*hint *hint). However, if not, no need to panic, there is plenty of time left to decide on a pattern, and that is actually one reason that I am writing this post! There are lots of pajama patterns out there to choose from, and a number of them are even free. So I have rounded up for you a number of great pattern options to check out and all of them are under $12.50. I have included the cost, the sizes included and a link where you can find the pattern. Again, this is not an exhaustive list, but a pretty good starting place if you aren’t sure where to look.
